In life, everything at least has a dual aspect to it. There is matter- antimatter, black- white, brain is also divided into two halves and so are our thoughts. No one might have come across another human who stays unbelievably optimistic in life. In general, we humans have a tendency to see negative aspect of things more than the positive ones. It is natural and yet it is harmful. Negative thinking grows on you subtly without even you realizing its impact.
This dominating perspective makes people see the void in the glass, in turn letting people believe that the world is full of vices. Step by step you start losing faith, questioning everyone and becoming paranoid. You are no longer capable of taking confident decisions and your vision is clouded by the “what ifs” more than ever. You tend to get irritated and question people who seem happy, flowing with the trend of aligning yourself with the trending “existential crisis”.
In all, negative thinking is the most disgraceful and sorry mentality which ruins the possibilities, kills capabilities and bring along catastrophic consequences. To combat the negative thoughts residing within us, we need to know the root cause. When we start perceiving every circumstance from a negative point of view, that is when the real issue arises.
More than anything, know that it won’t be simple or an overnight change. It is a complex reality which every human being deals with on a day to day basis. The conscious effort will bring about change but gradually. Live life, believe in good and do things more than thinking about them.
